Trust Funding

One of the benefits of having a revocable trust is the potential to avoid dealing with the probate courts. The probate courts administer any assets that are left in an individual’s name with no living beneficiary. In order to avoid the court process when you have a revocable trust, all assets should be either owned by the trust or have the trust as the beneficiary. The process of transferring assets into a trust can be time-consuming and difficult. Our office assists our clients through the requirements of the various financial institutions by completing the necessary forms and performing the necessary follow-up to ensure the assets are handled properly.
